Biography

Dr. David Doss is the 1982 founder of the Brazos Valley Women’s Center. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the University of Houston, earned his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch of Galveston, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Doss is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a member of the Brazos-Robertsons Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and an Assistant Professor of the OB/GYN Department at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Dr. Doss specializes in gynecology and comprehensive care for women with a special interest in gynecological surgery, osteoporosis, and menopause. He and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of three children, and three grandchildren.

Dr. Doss lives in Bryan with his wife Susan, and has raised 3 children, Amy, Matthew, and Sallie, in Bryan. Amy has chosen to continue the medical lineage and is in private practice in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Matt is in private law practice in Bryan, Texas and Sallie is in marketing in Boulder, Colorado. Susan is a registered nurse and volunteers locally.

Dr. Doss helped found The Prenatal Clinic and serves on the Board of Directors. He is a Past President of the St. Joseph Hospital medical staff, has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board, and continues to serve on the Bryan School Health Advisory Committee.
