She is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Eli. She enjoys working out, traveling with family and close friends, watching her sons’ sporting events, and playing guitar.

Biography

Dr. Jansky grew up in Taylor, Texas, about 80 miles from Bryan-College Station. She graduated from Baylor University in 1989 with Suma Cum Laude honors, was a four-year letterman on the tennis team, and a GTE Academic Athlete All-American. She attended Baylor College of Medicine where she met Dr. Dawson. During her medical school career, she received the Michael E. Debakey Award recognizing her place at the top of her class. She proceeded on to Dallas, performing her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital. During her training, Dr. Jansky received recognition as the Chief Resident in 1996 and Outstanding Intern in 1994. She also was the recipient of two Director’s Awards for Academic Excellence. She is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Eli. She enjoys working out, playing tennis, and spending time with her sons. Dr. Jansky is a member of the Sports Medicine team at Texas A&M University, providing medical care to the student athletes. She participates in the clinical training of medical students from Texas A&M and is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Ob/Gyn, Texas A&M Health Science Center. She is also the volunteer Medical Director for the Prenatal Clinic in Bryan, TX serving under-privileged pregnant women of the Brazos Valley. Dr. Jansky is a Diplomate of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.
