- David R. Doss, M.D.

Dr. David Doss is the 1982 founder of the Brazos Valley Women's Center. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch of Galveston, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Doss is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a member of the Brazos-Robertsons Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and an Assistant Professor of the OB/GYN Department at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Dr. Doss specializes in gynecology and comprehensive care for women with a special interest in gynecological surgery, osteoporosis, and menopause. He and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of three children.

Dr. Doss lives in Bryan with his wife Susan, and has raised 3 children, Amy, Matthew, and Sallie, in Bryan. Amy has chosen
to continue the medical lineage, and is currently training as an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of Alabama,
Birmingham. Matt is a law student at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, and Sallie is a business major at Wake Forest
University. Susan is a registered nurse and volunteers locally.

Dr. Doss helped found The Prenatal Clinic and has been it's volunteer Medical Director since it's inception. He is a Past
President of the St .Joseph Hospital medical staff, has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board, and continues
to serve on the Bryan School Health Advisory Committee.
- Betty Gingold Acker, M.D.

Dr. Acker is originally from Greenwich, Connecticut. She received both her undergraduate and M. D degrees from Georgetown University in Washington, D. C. Dr. Acker completed her residency training in 1990, in Obstetrics and Gynecology at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and served at a number of naval facilities. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Medical Women's Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society. Dr. Acker is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas A &M Health Science Center. She mentors undergraduates at Texas A &M and other colleges by working with the Pre-Med Society and the JAMPS Program. She participates in training medical students at all levels, 1st-4th year and training family practice residents who are learning obstetrics. She has a special interest in minimally-invasive gynecological procedures and the natural process that is the 9 months of pregnancy.

Dr. Acker is married and has two daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Acker has volunteered as a chair of the Department of OB/GYN at St. Joseph Regional Health Center and volunteers for a number of hospital committees and community organizations. She is active in Girl Scouts and serves as an Alumna Admissions Interviewer for Georgetown University. She enjoys travel, outdoor activities, cooking, needle work and gardening.

Dr. Dawson is a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M who returned to the Brazos Valley to practice. He met his wife, Dr.
Cynthia Jansky, while at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. They went on to do their residency in Dr. Dawson's
hometown at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, before moving to the Brazos Valley
and joining Dr. Doss and Dr. Acker in 1997. They are the proud parents of two sons, Samuel and Eli. Dr. Dawson
participates in the clinical training of medical students at Texas A&M Health Science Center and is a Assistant
Clinical Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Dr. Dawson has served as the President of the
Bryan/College Station Chapter of the March of Dimes and as the President of The Prenatal Clinic Board of
Directors. He attended Leadership Brazos in 1998. He has also served as the Chairman of the Department of
Ob/Gyn at St Josephs Hospital in Bryan, and will begin serving a term on the Governance Council for St Josephs
Hospital in 2008. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and avowed gadget guru. He is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Member of the Texas Medical Association and the
Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society. His special interests include infertility, advanced laparoscopic and
robotic pelvic surgery, along with minimaly invasive in office procedures and general Ob/Gyn.
- Cynthia A. Jansky, M.D.

Dr. Jansky grew up in Taylor, Texas, about 80 miles from Bryan-College Station. She graduated from Baylor University
in 1989 with Suma Cum Laude honors, was a four-year letterman on the tennis team, and a GTE Academic Athlete
All-American. She attended Baylor College of Medicine where she met Dr. Dawson. During her medical school career
she received the Michael E. Debakey Award recognizing her place at the top of her class. She proceeded on to Dallas,
performing her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital. During her training, Dr. Jansky
received recognition as the Chief Resident in 1996 and Outstanding Intern in 1994. She also was the recipient of two
Director's Awards for Academic Excellence. She is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Eli. She enjoys working out, playing tennis, and spending time with her sons. Dr. Jansky is a member of the
Sports Medicine team at Texas A&M University, providing medical care to the student athletes. She participates in the
clinical training of medical students from Texas A&M and is a Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Ob/Gyn,
Texas A&M Health Science Center. She is also the Medical Director for The Prenatal Clinic in Bryan. Dr. Jansky is a
Diplomate of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians
and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.
- Cari L. Cowling, M.D.

Dr. Cowling was raised in Hallettsville, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in December of 2000, her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, and completed her residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. While in residency, she received the Resident Academic Excellence Award. She is an active member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Medical Association (AMA), and The Texas Medical Association (TMA). Dr. Cowling's husband, Brandon, is a software engineer.

Originally from Marlin, TX, Dr. Moore received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Texas A&M University (Class of '01 and '06). He completed residency training at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in June of 2010. During his residency he served as co-chief resident, participated in a surgical mission trip to Guatemala, and won multiple awards for his research and teaching efforts. In his spare time, he enjoys playing almost any intramural sport, with a particular interest in volleyball. In addition, he enjoys watching live music and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Riley returned to her hometown of Bryan/College Station in 2007, after receiving her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University and her doctorate in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine from the University of North Texas. Her training also included an internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Riley is a licensed psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association. Her background in health settings makes her uniquely suited to assist women who would like to integrate their medical and mental health care. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders, adjustment and relationship issues, as well as health-related change. She and her husband, Hayden, are the proud parents of two boys. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and taekwondo.

Ms. Kapusniak is the nutrition counselor for the Brazos Valley Women's Center. She earned her M.S. degree in nutrition from Texas A&M, is registered by the American Dietetic Association and licensed by the Texas Dietetic Association. Her expertise and commitment to sharing her skills with the community earned her national recognition by the American Dietetic Association. Linda is the author of "A Restaurant Guide to Low Fat Dining in the Brazos Valley" and creator of Best Bets in the Brazos Valley, a program designed to help locate the healthiest foods at area restaurants and grocery stores.
