Dan Dawson, M.D.
Dr. Dawson Dr. Dawson is a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M who returned to the Brazos Valley to practice. He met his wife, Dr. Cynthia Jansky, while at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. They went on to do their residency in Dr. Dawson's hometown at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, before moving to the Brazos Valley and joining Dr. Doss and Dr. Acker in 1997. They are the proud parents of two sons, Samuel and Eli. Dr. Dawson participates in the clinical training of medical students at Texas A&M Health Science Center and is a Assistant Clinical Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Dr. Dawson has served as the President of the Bryan/College Station Chapter of the March of Dimes and as the President of The Prenatal Clinic Board of Directors. He attended Leadership Brazos in 1998. He has also served as the Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn at St Josephs Hospital in Bryan, and will begin serving a term on the Governance Council for St Josephs Hospital in 2008. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and avowed gadget guru. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society. His special interests include infertility, advanced laparoscopic and robotic pelvic surgery, along with minimaly invasive in office procedures and general Ob/Gyn.

Cynthia Jansky, M.D.
Dr. Jansky Dr. Jansky grew up in Taylor, Texas, about 80 miles from Bryan-College Station. She graduated from Baylor University in 1989 with Suma Cum Laude honors, was a four-year letterman on the tennis team, and a GTE Academic Athlete All-American. She attended Baylor College of Medicine where she met Dr. Dawson. During her medical school career she received the Michael E. Debakey Award recognizing her place at the top of her class. She proceeded on to Dallas, performing her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital. During her training, Dr. Jansky received recognition as the Chief Resident in 1996 and Outstanding Intern in 1994. She also was the recipient of two Director's Awards for Academic Excellence. She is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Eli. She enjoys outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing with her husband and spending time with her sons. Dr. Jansky is a member of the Sports Medicine team at Texas A&M University, providing medical care to the student athletes. She participates in the clinical training of medical students from Texas A&M and is a Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Ob/Gyn, Texas A&M Health Science Center. She is also the Medical Director for The Prenatal Clinic in Bryan. Dr. Jansky is a Diplomate of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.

Betty Gingold Acker, M.D.
Dr. Acker Dr. Acker is originally from Greenwich, Connecticut. She received both her undergraduate and M.D. degrees from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Dr. Acker completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at national Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and served at a number of naval facilities. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Medical Women's Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society. Dr. Acker is married and has two children. In her spare time, Dr. Acker volunteers as a chair of the Department of OB/GYN at St. Joseph Regional Health Center, volunteers for a number of hospital committees and Community Organization boards. She enjoys outdoor activities, cooking and sewing.
David R. Doss, M.D.
Dr. Doss Dr. David Doss is the founding physician at Brazos Valley Women's Center. He started the practice, along with Dr. Mark Montgomery, in 1982. Dr. Doss grew up in Fort Worth, graduating from the University of Houston, and attending medical school at UTMB in Galveston. He completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St Paul Hospital / UT Southwestern in Dallas in 1982. Through the last 25 years, Dr. Doss has delivered countless children to the women of the Brazos Valley, and provided complete medical care to those same women through the phases of their lives. As time has moved on, Dr. Doss has chosen to limit his practice to Gynecology only, but continues to provide the special care that women have come to expect from him. He provides specialized Gynecologic surgeries, in office procedures, annual health maintenance, and general care for his patients.
Dr. Doss lives in Bryan with his wife Susan, and has raised 3 children, Amy, Matthew, and Sallie, in Bryan. Amy has chosen to continue the medical lineage, and is currently training as an Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Matt is a law student at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, and Sallie is a business major at Wake Forest University. Susan is a registered nurse and volunteers locally.
Dr. Doss helped found The Prenatal Clinic and has been it’s volunteer Medical Director since it’s inception. He is a Past President of the St .Joseph Hospital medical staff, has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board, and continues to serve on the Bryan School Health Advisory Committee.
Celeste Arden Riley, Ph.D.
Dr. Riley is a native of Bryan/College Station, and graduated from Bryan High School in 1993. She received her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and her doctorate in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine from the University of North Texas. Dr. Riley completed her internship in 2005 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She then returned to Texas for a postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She was pleased to return to her hometown in 2007 with her husband and their energetic four year-old. In her spare time, she likes to play tennis, spend time outdoors and read.
Dr. Riley is a licensed psychologist, and a member of the American Psychological Association. Her specialties include assisting women with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, stress management and adjustment to specific life circumstances, such as birth of a child, infertility, or starting college. Dr. Riley’s interests in health psychology involve helping individuals who are coping with medical illness, or who would like assistance with changing health-related behaviors, such as smoking cessation or weight loss. Her background in health psychology makes her uniquely suited to serve patients in this medical setting. Dr. Riley considers the integration of women’s medical and mental health care to be a critical factor in maintaining wellness.
