David R. Doss, M.D.
Dr. David Doss is the 1982 founder of the Brazos Valley Women's Center. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch of Galveston, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Doss is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a member of the Brazos-Robertsons Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and an Assistant Professor of the OB/GYN Department at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. Dr. Doss specializes in gynecology and comprehensive care for women with a special interest in gynecological surgery, osteoporosis, and menopause. He and his wife, Susan, are the proud parents of three children.
Dr. Doss lives in Bryan with his wife Susan, and has raised 3 children, Amy, Matthew, and Sallie, in Bryan. Amy has chosen to continue the medical lineage, and is in private practice in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Matt is in private law practice in Bryan, Texas and Sallie is in marketing in Denver, Colorado. Susan is a registered nurse and volunteers locally.
Dr. Doss helped found The Prenatal Clinic and has been its volunteer Medical Director since its inception. He is a Past President of the St .Joseph Hospital medical staff, has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board, and continues to serve on the Bryan School Health Advisory Committee.
DANIEL D. DAWSON, M.D.
Dr. Dawson is a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M who returned to the Brazos Valley to practice. He met his wife, Dr. Cynthia Jansky, while at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. They went on to do their residency in Dr. Dawson's hometown at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, before moving to the Brazos Valley and joining Dr. Doss and Dr. Acker in 1997. They are the proud parents of two sons, Samuel and Eli. Dr. Dawson participates in the clinical training of medical students at Texas A&M Health Science Center and is a Assistant Clinical Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Dr. Dawson has served as the President of the Bryan/College Station Chapter of the March of Dimes and as the President of The Prenatal Clinic Board of Directors. He attended Leadership Brazos in 1998. He has also served as the Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn at St Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, and will begin serving a term on the Governance Council for St Joseph’s Hospital in 2008. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and avowed gadget guru. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society. His special interests include infertility, advanced laparoscopic and robotic pelvic surgery, along with minimally invasive in office procedures and general Ob/Gyn.
Cynthia A. Jansky, M.D.
Dr. Jansky grew up in Taylor, Texas, about 80 miles from Bryan-College Station. She graduated from Baylor University in 1989 with Suma Cum Laude honors, was a four-year letterman on the tennis team, and a GTE Academic Athlete All-American. She attended Baylor College of Medicine where she met Dr. Dawson. During her medical school career she received the Michael E. Debakey Award recognizing her place at the top of her class. She proceeded on to Dallas, performing her residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Hospital. During her training, Dr. Jansky received recognition as the Chief Resident in 1996 and Outstanding Intern in 1994. She also was the recipient of two Director's Awards for Academic Excellence. She is the proud mother of two sons, Samuel and Eli. She enjoys working out, playing tennis, and spending time with her sons. Dr. Jansky is a member of the Sports Medicine team at Texas A&M University, providing medical care to the student athletes. She participates in the clinical training of medical students from Texas A&M and is a Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Ob/Gyn, Texas A&M Health Science Center. She is also the Medical Director for The Prenatal Clinic in Bryan. Dr. Jansky is a Diplomate of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.
